Bendix backs the No. 55 Supercheap Auto Racing Mustang for 2020

It’s the start of the 2020 Season of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship and Bendix are proud to announce our continuing support of the No. 55 Supercheap Auto Mustang now driven by Tickford Racing’s new hard charger Jack Le Brocq.

Jack will debut the No. 55 Mustang at next week’s Superloop Adelaide 500 and is keen to see what he can do in the Ford Mustang machinery after a switch from Holden Commodore last year. Jack said “I’m absolutely thrilled to be coming back to Tickford Racing, and am very excited to be driving the Supercheap Auto Ford Mustang in 2020,” Le Brocq remarked. “To have an opportunity with one of the sport’s top teams is amazing, and to bepartnered with Supercheap Auto and Bendix is a great honour. My first two years in the championship have been a roller coaster at times, but I’ve learned heaps and can’t wait to apply it all to the FordMustang. Tickford has had a great 2019 season, and I certainly want to add to that in 2020.

The 27-year-old got his first taste of the Supercheap Mustang in a filming opportunity for his livery launch ahead of the first round in Adelaide. “What better way to kick the year off than laying down some rubber in the car park,” he said. “The Supercheap Auto wagon’s looking good, and she feels good sliding around warehouses and access roads, so I’m really excited to get to Adelaide next week and give it a go on the race track.”

Bendix will once again support the No. 55 Ford Mustang with signage on both front guards. “Bendix are extremely proud to continue their partnership with Supercheap Auto Racing for 2020 for the upcoming Supercars season,” said George Kyriakopoulos, General Manager of Bendix. “We are looking forward to see what Jack Le Brocq, can do in this year’s season and for the Supercheap Auto Racing team, we want to welcome him and wish him all the best.”

Tickford Racing will take to the circuit this Tuesday at the SuperTest at The Bend Motorsport Park before heading to the season opener in Adelaide for the Superloop 500 on the following Thursday.
