Bendix boosts Euro+™ Brake Wear Sensor range for BMWs

Bendix has expanded its range of Euro+™ Brake Wear Sensors to suit a wide selection of late and earlier model BMW SUVs and passenger cars.

Brake wear sensors play an important safety role. Mounted on the brake pads, as the pads wear and the sensor contacts the rotor drivers are given a warning – usually a light on the vehicle’s dashboard – advising them that pads will soon need replacing, reducing the risk of driving on worn pads.

Bendix's latest product expansion sees a broadening of its Euro+™ Brake Wear Sensors for a wider range of Bendix sedans, hatches, wagons and SUVs such as the X3.

Sedans, wagons and hatches
Among the new additions are front brake wear sensors for 1 Series – 118i, 128i (F40) – and front and rear variants for the 135i (F40), all from 2019 onwards.

Owners of the larger 3 Series including 320d, 320i, 330e and 330i (G20) from 2019 onwards, can also select Euro+™ Brake Wear Sensors at their next brake pad replacement.

In the 5 Series, there are now front and rear options available for the 520d (G30) from 2017 to 2023, while rear brake wear sensors have been introduced for 6 Series 620d (G32) models from 2018 to 2023. 7 Series (G70 and G11) models from 2022 onwards and 2017 to 2023 respectively, also benefit from the latest release with rear wear sensor options being launched for these vehicles.

Brake Wear Sensors are designed as a direct replacement for OE sensors, making them easy and efficient to fit.

SUVs
Across the BMW SUV range, new front and rear Euro+™ Brake Wear Sensors have been released for the X1 (U11) from 2023 onwards, along with rear variants for 20i xDrive (G01) X3 models. New rear brake wear sensors are also on offer for 20i xDrive (G02) X4 models from 2018 onwards.

Capping off Bendix’s latest new releases are rear Euro+™ Brake Wear Sensors for the earlier (2007 to 2010) xDrive 30i (G05) variant X5 and front options for 50i (E70) variants from 2010 to 2013.

Euro+™ Brake Wear Sensors are designed as a direct replacement for OE sensors, making them easy and efficient to fit. Bendix recommends installing new brake wear sensors with every brake pad replacement.
